Four Day Destruction

30 days of Paleo ended, then a side experiment started. I thought I would see how much shit I could consume in 4 days and how much weight I could gain in a short time. Anything from ice cream to apple pie with chocolate, m&m's, smores bars, and whatever easter candy I could get my hands on. It was really a miserable experience. What good food and diet had built up in energy levels was ripped apart as the hurricane of carbohydrates and processed BS was thrown its way. Insulin levels spiked and dipped. A self realization occured. I am an addict. When I am not focused 100% on eating healthy I go 180 degrees in the wrong direction. Their is no middle ground.

  1. So how much weight did you gain? You look great to me. I think your will power is amazing, there is no way I could not want to eat the way I do. I use to follow your moto of "I workout so I can eat" I will be on board in helping you reach your goals. I too want to reach a desired look for my body, maybe that would help with all areas of my well being. I will cook for us separately from the boys. I just need the tools. A Paleo Cookbook would be a big help.

  2. The weight "gain", probably about 5 pounds but it was the negative effect (affect - not sure) that is worse than the weight gain. The sluggishness, the diminished desire to workout, and the greater the struggle during the workout. The struggles to get out of bed in the morning and the less energy to play with the kids at night. I am not doing this to achieve a certain look or body type, but to achieve a certain feeling within. If your desire is a certain body type or look, than I wish you all the luck and you will be blessed with a side effect of increased energy which is always nice. Remember though, I have seen your body and it is beautiful.
